Payment & Security

At Reyrr Athletics, your payment security is our top priority. All transactions occur over secure HTTPS/TLS connections (Shopify uses TLS encryption for every store). We never store your sensitive card data – only Shopify and our payment providers handle it on secure servers. Our store is PCI DSS Level 1 certified by default (Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI compliant, meaning it meets the strictest industry standards for protecting credit card information. You’ll see familiar trust badges at checkout (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Secure, PCI DSS) to reassure you that your payment is safe.

Multi-Currency & Pricing

Reyrr supports payments in multiple currencies (SEK, EUR, NOK, DKK, GBP, and USD). Using Shopify Markets and Shopify Payments, we display prices in your local currency based on your shipping country. For example, if you ship to Sweden you’ll see prices in SEK; ship to Germany you’ll see EUR; and so on. This localized pricing means you pay in the displayed currency at checkout.

 

When you check out, the total is calculated in that local currency. If you pay with a card or account in a different currency, the amount is converted at the time of the transaction. Shopify Payments uses current exchange rates and adds a small conversion fee (for example, ~1.5%) to the price. In practice, your bank or card issuer will apply their exchange rate as well, so your final charge may vary slightly. We recommend checking with your bank for any additional foreign‐exchange fees.

Payment Methods

Reyrr offers a wide range of payment options. Supported methods include:

  • Shopify Payments – Accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and popular wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) In eligible regions, Shopify Payments also integrates Klarna financing at checkout.

  • Klarna – Provides flexible checkout options. Customers can “Pay Now” (direct debit/card), “Pay Later” (invoice, typically 14–30 days), or use Financing (installment plans). Klarna is available for orders in supported currencies (EUR, GBP, SEK, NOK, DKK, etc.) and is displayed at checkout where eligible.

  • Qliro Checkout – A Nordic checkout solution offering both instant and delayed payments. Qliro supports local wallets (Swish, Vipps, MobilePay), Apple Pay, PayPal, and Visa/Mastercard. It also offers Buy-Now-Pay-Later options like invoice and part-payments. This lets shoppers “Pay Now” via trusted wallets or “Pay Later” via invoice/installments in one streamlined flow.

  • Stripe – An alternative payment gateway we use for cards and wallets. Stripe accepts standard card payments plus Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. Like Shopify Payments, Stripe is fully PCI compliant and uses modern security protocols. Stripe’s integration automatically triggers 3D Secure (SCA) for European transactions, shifting fraud liability to the card issuer when authenticated..

  • PayPal – Allows payment via PayPal accounts or direct card payments through the PayPal interface. Customers can log into their PayPal wallet (or use a PayPal account even without a balance) to complete a purchase. PayPal is a trusted digital wallet worldwide.

  • Local Methods – In addition to the above, we accept popular local Nordic payment apps: Swish (Sweden), Vipps (Norway), and MobilePay (Denmark/Finland). These mobile payment apps provide fast, app‑based checkout. They’re available through our integrated gateways (e.g. via Qliro or Shopify integrations) and appear automatically at checkout for customers with those options.

Security & Fraud Protection

We employ industry-leading security measures throughout checkout. Our site uses HTTPS/TLS encryption to secure all customer data in transit. We also leverage Shopify’s built‑in fraud analysis tools: every order is automatically scored for risk to help flag potentially fraudulent transactions. In the European market, we comply with PSD2’s Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements. This means 3-D Secure authentication is used for applicable orders – when you verify the payment (e.g. via a bank app or code), your card issuer assumes liability if fraud occurs. Put simply, if a transaction is properly authenticated, chargeback liability shifts from Reyrr to the issuing bank. These measures, plus Shopify’s PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, ensure that Reyrr never stores your raw card data and that every payment is handled by secure, certified processors.

  • Sweden: Prices in SEK. Pay with cards, Apple/Google Pay, Swish, Klarna, or Qliro (all local options supported). Swish and Klarna are among the most popular methods in Sweden, providing instant mobile payment and flexible financing respectively

  • Norway: Prices in NOK. Pay with cards, Apple/Google Pay, Vipps, or Klarna. Vipps is Norway’s leading mobile wallet (10M+ users), offering easy app-based checkout

  • Denmark: Prices in DKK. Pay with cards, Apple/Google Pay, or MobilePay. MobilePay is Denmark’s trusted mobile payment app (also used in Finland), widely adopted for online checkouts

  • Eurozone: Prices in EUR for most EU countries. Customers can pay by card, Apple/Google Pay, or services like Klarna (where available). Some local methods (e.g. Sofort or iDEAL) may be offered via integrated gateways. We also display badges for common European providers to build trust.

  • United Kingdom: Prices in GBP. Pay with cards, Apple/Google Pay, PayPal, or Klarna Pay Later. These methods are among the most popular in the UK (with Klarna and PayPal enabling easy installments or account checkout).

Each country’s checkout automatically shows the most relevant local payment logos to our customers. In all cases, our security badges (Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, Qliro, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Secure, PCI DSS, etc.) are clearly displayed to give you confidence in choosing Reyrr Athletics.

 

Sources: We use Shopify’s Markets and Payments tools to enable multi-currency checkout, with prices converted at real-time exchange rates and a small fee.
